Lambs of God

Mark shot stills for the drama mini-series Lambs of God, having had its world premiere at the prestigious Series Mania event in France earlier this year and more recently its Australian premiere at the Sydney Film Festival. Directed by Jeffrey Walker with cast Ann Dowd, Essie Davis, Jessica Bardon and Sam Reid. Lambs of God is a dark, gothic and twistedly-erotic mini-series, about a secluded nunnery threatened by the arrival of a handsome young priest. Based on the novel by Marele Day. Lambs of God will premiere on Foxtel’s FOX showcase July 21.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum

Mark travelled to Morocco to shoot stills for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parrabelum released in May, 2019.

Directed by Chad Stahelski and featuring cast Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Lance Reddick, Saïd Taghmaoui, Jerome Flynn, Jason Mantzoukas, Tobias Segal, Boban Marjanovic, with Anjelica Huston, and Ian McShane.

Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge. Directed by Neil Marshall and featuring cast David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane, with Daniel Dae Kim.

Over the past seventeen years, Australians in Film has grown to play a vital role in promoting and supporting Australian screen talent in the United States. Founded in 2001, Australians in Film (AiF) is a Los Angeles-based, non-profit screen organization that supports its members with career development and education programs including the prestigious Heath Ledger Scholarship, AiFUpload Film Festival, Mentor LA, the Village Roadshow/Animal Logic Entertainment Internship, the Greg Coote Fellowship, Gateway LA and The Writer’s Room. AiF is based at Charlie’s, a shared workspace at the historic Raleigh Studios in Hollywood where Charlie Chaplin and Douglas Fairbanks made films and frequently, played cards. Since opening in 2006, Charlie’s has become a bespoke hub for business, collaboration and networking for the Australian screen community in Los Angeles and where AiF regularly holds its industry education programs.

Starstruck: Australian Movie Portraits

Starstruck tells the story of Australian cinema through on-set still and portrait photography from the early 20th century through to today.

The project is a major collaboration between National Film and Sound Archive of Australia and The National Portrait Gallery to create a national touring exhibition.

Mark had seven works featured in this exhibition of 100 years of Australian move portraits. This included posters and portraits from Indigenous films Sweet Country, Samson and Delilah, Beneath Clouds, as well as the Water Diviner. The interview below forms part of the exhibition.
